Being on the other side of the ocean, I try to stock up on some of my favorite products from the states. It always makes for heavy bags when we return from the USA but then I don’t have to buy toiletries for many months! And I always love the challenge of finding what I want on sale. I certainly miss those buy one, get one free sales!
Here’s some of my favorite products:
Herbal Essences Volumizing Hairspray: The smell is so nice for a good price!
Garnier Fructis Shampoo: Again I love the smell and the way it makes my hair feel.
Revlon Colorstay: This foundation goes on smooth and doesn’t leave an oily feeling.
Basis Cleaner Clean Face Wash: This one is hard to find but it leaves your face feeling so fresh and oil free. You can find it at Drug Emporium (in West Texas) or at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
Tom’s Toothpaste: Did you know that most toothpastes contain artificial sweeteners? I am allergic to artifical sweeteners so when I went on the hunt for a toothpaste without them, this is what I found. I like the one with baking soda to make my mouth feel extra fresh!
Tresemme Big Boost: This spray really does work! I spray it in my hair before blow drying to give it extra body.
Cover Girl Simply Powder Foundation: I like the powdered look from this inexpensive choice.
Loreal Voluminous Mascara: Makes my thin lashes look fuller!
And some of my favorite products for the kids:
Tom’s Toothpaste For Kids: I might as well choose the healthy choice for my kids!
Suave Bodywash And Shampoo: Again inexpensive and available in a variety of scents.
Suave Detangler: Very much needed to detangle little girl’s hair. The apple scent smells yummy!
Those are a few of my favorite products. I actually got turned on to many of these through the Walgreen’s rebate program. If you don’t know about it, you should check it out! Every month Walgreen’s puts out a rebate catalog. Often they have a few products for totally free! You purchase it, send in a rebate, and get a check back in the mail for the price you paid! And if you choose to get it back in the form of a gift card, then you get an extra 10% back so you can actually get even more back! It’s definitely worth the trouble of filling out the rebate form.
