We’ve heard that so many times! The first time we did the Saturday Mbonisweni Ministry Day we brought peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the kids. They ate it but the ladies of the house told us the next week, “Africans love pap!” It’s true. They would much rather have it over sandwiches. This maize meal dish looks much like mashed potatoes and is very filling. Since it doesn’t have much flavor by itself, they usually make a soup or stew to go over it. They make a huge pot of it and take turns stirring it. The bigger the pot, the more fun it is to watch!
