I found a basic recipe for scones and added my own touches! Tasted perfect with homemade apple butter!

2 1/2 cups flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
5 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 egg
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Mix dry ingredients together. Cut in butter. Whisk buttermilk and egg in separate bowl. Add honey and lemon juice. Stir. Make a well in center of dry ingredients. Add egg mixture. Stir until moistened. Knead on lightly floured surface. Roll dough to 1 1/2 in. thickness. Slice into 10 wedges. Bake at 400F for 15 min.
