I love dips in a bread bowl. Especially when they are cooked in the oven. After making spinach dip in a bread bowl, Anneke and I got to thinking. Wouldn’t it be great to make individual bread bowls filled with something tasty? So on one of our cooking together Saturday nights, we made these. They were so good and easy. We just bought bread rolls at the bakery. You can cook the ground beef any way you like. We cooked onions in some olive oil. Then add garlic and some freshly chopped mushrooms. When all that is soft, add the beef. Season it to your liking. We added some salt and red wine. After it is cooked, fill hollowed out bread rolls with the beef. Top with grated cheese and stick in the oven on 350F for about 10 min. or until cheese is melted. Serve with a side salad.
