Only a slight pause and we’re back to Valentine’s crafting! I don’t own the book, but several months ago, I downloaded the free Princess crown pattern found here from Fairy Tale Knits. I instantly fell in love with this little knit and put it on my Valentine crafting list for my handsome prince and my beautiful princess.
Don’t let the pictures fool you. Joshua was happy about his crown. Like I’ve said, he still likes whatever his mommy makes for him. His daddy just says that he will have to kindly put it away when his friends come over. 🙂 I, on the other hand, think it’s a wonderful tool for creative play!
I don’t know if you can see, but I love the remnants of peanut butter left on each of their faces. Just a reminder that no one is perfect…not even princes and princesses!
I was so excited to have these ready to put in the Valentine’s mailboxes that I didn’t read all of the finishing instructions. So for now they will stay little roll brims and maybe some picot edging will appear later. We’ll see!
