I only wanted to use supplies I had on hand so we did a little improvising. I cut some squares out of a painting cloth that was unused. The back had plastic on it which was just perfect to keep the paint from bleeding through. We used acrylic paint instead of fabric paint and that worked just great. We also used a brown crayola marker for the stem and seeds. I always have lots of yarn lying around, so I punched some holes and ran the yarn through to hang it. This was such a fun project and I love the way it looks in my kitchen.
I have plans for some potato print buntings for Christmas. I think I’m in love with buntings now. 🙂 With 2012 just around the corner, be sure to enter my giveaway for a calendar!
Linking up with Jennifer @ Studio JRU for Sneak Peek Friday. Have you linked up there? It’s such a great way to show off your creativity!
