Have I ever mentioned that I like homemade bread? Maybe “like” is an understatement. Maybe I should’ve given up bread instead of chocolate for Lent. Well, the other day, I settled on spinach omelettes for dinner and wanted to make a 100% whole wheat bread to go with them. I’ve made a really great 100% whole wheat bread, but you have to refrigerate it overnight. Poor planning on my part got in the way of that, so I began my hunt. I absolutely loved this recipe from Food.com. It rose beautifully and was that dense, heavy bread that comes with 100% whole wheat. It was a keeper for sure!
