So remember our Christmas gift to the grandparents of all the grandkids? Well, that technique of using mod podge to glue a photo to a canvas was the theme of my Christmas handmade crafting. It’s quite funny to me because I’m the least talented in the area of painting on canvas. Thankfully I had my sister-in-law to help me out a bit.
For these projects, I used a photo I took in Africa of an acacia tree. I love the acacia trees. First, I made an art piece with Psalm 1:3 on it for my brother and his wife. It’s simple and maybe a little reminder for him of us on the other side of the world. 🙂
For my father-in-law, I used the same photo and made a clock. I’ve never made a clock before. It was so easy and fun. I’m pretty sure this won’t be the last clock I make. I’ve pinned some pretty cool ideas.

Did you do any Christmas crafting for gifts?
