I used to post recipes on Sundays, but then I stopped cooking (well, not really but months of traveling here and there and then weeks of trying to settle in meant really just cooking the easy recipes in my head). I actually tried a new recipe the other day, Corn Chowder from Real Simple. Emma G LOVED it. It was so easy to make and definitely one that will make its way back to the menu.
Do you go in spurts with cooking? Sometimes I scour the Internet for new recipes to make. Lately, though, it’s just been about survival. The basics just so everyone is fed. Any favorite recipes you’ve tried lately? The basics are getting a little boring around here.

March 7, 2013 at 3:18 amI go in spurts as well. Lately, I've been doing more crock pot meals. One of these days, I'm going to do some freezer to crock pot meals, like a month's worth or something!
