Through this girl’s devotional book, God has reminded me of the power of love. We have an amazing group of students here in our discipleship school. The other night I was blown away as they hosted a pajama night to bless all of us staff. We were instructed to come in our pj’s to our eating pavilion which was decorated with curtains and mattresses on the floor to sit. They served up a big breakfast (for dinner, my favorite!) complete with eggs, bacon, pancakes, and fruit. All of this to say thank you to the staff for investing into their lives. I was reminded of page 100 as emotion stirred in my heart. “I love you.” “I love you more.” It makes for a beautiful relationship, doesn’t it?
Want to win this devotional book intended for girls aged 4-7 but packed with words that will challenge even the older but young at heart? It’s chock full of 55 devotions that will challenge your young readers (check out a sampling here). I also love the ideas it gives for carrying out the challenge. My 8 year daughter also likes the sparkle on the cover. 🙂 I have one copy of the Shine Your Light Devotional to give away courtesy of Tommy Nelson. Giveaway is open to U.S. addresses only and ends March 28th at 1 pm CST when random number generator will choose one winner.

March 22, 2013 at 6:48 pmMy daughter would most like an angel with her when I can't be with her. She has to stay with her Poppa a lot while I take little sister to her many doctor appointments, and she misses me so much when we have overnight hospital stays.
