The guy at the antique shop in Pretoria laughed when we told him we were on a family getaway in the city, because the city folk like to come to our neck of the woods to get away. It’s all about the change of scenery, isn’t it? That’s just what we needed, so we packed a few belongings and headed out for the city. Fun? Yes. Relaxing? Yes. Just what we needed? Definitely.
We didn’t pack our schedule but we enjoyed hanging at the mall, exploring Antique Route 6, and chilling in the room. We even discovered a cute little ice cream shop! Handmade Danish ice cream…it was yum!
How was your weekend?
