Giveaways Reviews

you were always in my heart {giveaway}

Well, I hope you all had a Happy Father’s Day. We’ve officially changed the date of Father’s Day for this year to this coming weekend since Jeremy made a quick trip to the States for his grandmother’s funeral. Speaking of fathers, I’ve got a great giveaway today centered around adoption. Isn’t it beautiful when a child receives a mother and a father and is adopted into a forever family? I think there’s rejoicing in heaven.

You Were Always In My Heart by Mary Beth and Steven Curtis Chapman is a beautiful story of Shaoey and her journey to her forever family. I love how her little ladybug guardian angel, Dot, stays with her along her journey. It’s a beautiful story that would be perfect for teaching your little ones about adoption or to read to a child joined to your family through adoption to emphasize how they were always in your heart.

    I was adopted and I can't remember not knowing I was adopted. I was always told I was special and that's just how it was. It never seemed like a big deal until I got into my teens. That's when I wanted to know more.

    We haven't talked about adoption much, yet, but we probably should. I want my kids to understand that it is a wonderful way to become part of a family!
