Welcome to In The Studio, a place to show off your studio and meet some great artists! Valentine’s Day is exactly one week from today. You know what holidays mean, right? A time to craft! We’ve had several rainy days lately, so crafting has been a perfect option for keeping kids busy and entertained. Here are some of our projects that we’ve added to our Valentine bunting.
Toilet Paper Roll Hearts
Man, these were easy. I saved a couple of toilet paper rolls, grabbed a plate and some red paint, and the kids made these cute Love is… cards. These are for something special of which I will have to reveal the details of AFTER Valentine’s Day. (Trying to add a little suspense to your life. :)) They would also be perfect for Valentine’s Day cards to hand out at school. So simple with a handmade touch.
Egg Carton Hearts
We also recycled the bottom of egg cartons and made some egg carton hearts! I had some thin board on hand that I used as the base and then just glued the egg cartons on and had the kids paint them. You could easily use cardboard as well. Again, super easy with lots of room to be creative with color.
All of these projects and more can be found at my Today’s Mama Easy Valentine’s Crafts roundup as well as my Free Valentine’s Printables and Card Ideas post. I’m looking forward to seeing your creativity this week. Please invite all your friends to this community so we can all be blessed by seeing such amazing creativity!
Now it’s your turn! Remember your “studio” can be anywhere. Let’s celebrate each other’s creativity by linking up and visiting as many as the other studios as you can. Check out the about post for more info and don’t forget to grab the In The Studio button!
