Whenever I bump into someone I know while traveling, it always takes me by surprise. I mean how big is the world and the chances of bumping into someone on the other side of it, seems uncanny. Every time it happens, it makes me realize that traveling actually makes the world feel a little bit smaller. Click over to Petit Elefant to read about the time we bumped into someone famous! I’ll never forget it!
Have you ever bumped into someone famous or someone you knew while traveling?

November 26, 2015 at 9:15 amHow fun you got to fly with a former President! I've had a couple Australian encounters with people from the US or UK, which is fun. It really is a small world!

November 29, 2015 at 5:44 amVery cool! I met Bush Sr. in France, and the rest of my family met Clinton while I was in college (perks of being dip kids). My then-three-year-old sister stuck out her tongue at Clinton when he tried to shake her hand but the rest of the family was amazed at his legendary charisma. Ironically, while my family was meeting Clinton in Nicaragua I was at Stanford studying for finals in the dorm room his daughter Chelsea had lived in the year before. I never met Chelsea, but my roommate had a class with her.
