August 4, 2016 at 1:40 pmI know Martin Luther threw them out 1500 years after Christ, but 9yo Nikki loves reading the Old Testament books of Tobit and Judith. Judith was an absolutely amazing women! And the story of Tobit getting married is not one to be missed. First Macabees is another favourite of mine, with lots of war and miracles. Even if you don't think these books are part of the canon of Scripture, they are some awesome stories.
