war for the waking world {giveaway}

war for the waking world

Well, it’s another Wayne Thomas Batson great! In his third installment in the Dreamtreaders series, Batson takes us on another adventure with 15 year old Archer Keaton. The plot thickens as the waking world and dream world collide and people’s wildest dreams are being played out in real life. It might sound exciting, but it causes mass chaos, especially with Archer’s ex-best friend, Kara, at the head with her devious plans. Kara is building an army to take over, and Archer and his fellow dreamtreaders must stop her before things get too out of control!

I really liked this book, because I feel like it taught a very important lesson to not give up, even when things look really dim. It would have been easy for Archer and his dreamtreading friends to give up in the chaos, especially when they were in over their heads, but they didn’t. They gathered strength from Jesus and fought for something they believed in. I think that’s such an important lesson to remember that when we are weak, His is strong. We just have to lean on His strength.

This is a great book for tweens and teens. It teaches a good lesson and comes highly recommended from me. 🙂

    This is a hard thing to teach! I think the best thing to do is to model it ourselves.
