24 medium pears; unpeeled, cored and quartered
3/4 cup concentrated apple juice
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon ginger
Place pears, apple juice, and lemon juice in crock pot. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or overnight. Blend pears and a little of the juice until smooth. Return to crock pot. Add cinnamon, cloves, and ginger. Cook one hour longer. Spoon into sterilized jars. Makes 4 – 1 pint jars.
