I just finished reading Ford County by John Grisham. I really like John Grisham’s books, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this one. I don’t know. It just wasn’t uplifting at all. It’s a collaboration of short stories that all take place in Ford County. And none of them are redeeming. As I read it, though, I was reminded of the struggles we all experience as we go through life. I can’t imagine living life without Jesus. Without the hope, peace, and love that comes through Him. I was also reminded of the neighbors around us and how much I want to be a beacon of that hope, peace, and love! So I guess a book that makes you think and challenges you isn’t too bad…
