Having lived in Africa, I talked a lot about our ministry to orphans. But the past year, being on the marathon sabbatical, it’s been different. I needed that break, but going to India was so refreshing. To be able to step outside my little world again was awesome.
When you come back from a trip like my trip to India, it’s hard to just ease back into the regular routine. It’s as though writing about crafting projects and weekend adventures pale in comparison to talking about young girls who are sold into prostitution or kids living on the streets. If you’ve ever traveled outside the U.S. to a 3rd world country, you probably know what I mean.
So, I’ve decided that, as I go back to my regularly scheduled programming of my latest crafting venture, photography tips, or newest favorite recipe, that I will mingle in some posts about India. I still have lots to tell and lots of photos to tell the story of my trip. Thanks so much for being a part of this journey!
