Today I bring you a giveaway from one of my favorite hobbies and friends, knitted flower clips by my friend, Brittany! I met Brittany in 2008 when she braved leaving America behind to move to S. Africa and work with an organization of people she didn’t know very well. Our adventures together of spotting giraffe in Kruger National Park, floating down the Nile in Uganda, and sipping coffee over long chats about life at our favorite cafe in S. Africa, have brought a bond and lifelong friendship that I will forever treasure. Brittany is an amazing writer, gifted photographer, and the creativeness behind her blog, My Learning Curve. I asked Brittany to tell you a little about herself, in her own words…
“Hello! My name is Brittany and I first met Jen and her family a few years ago when we all lived and worked together in South Africa. I lived in SA working with Ten Thousand Homes for about 2.5 years and just last fall moved back home to Spokane, WA where I am currently going to school to become a Massage Therapist. I love taking part in this giveaway as Jen and her contagious love of all things creative was the first to really spark my own passion. Because of her I learned to knit, I started my own blog, and I became fascinated with photography [to name just a few!]. So thank you Jen! You are my inspiration.”
