L.A. was an incredible experience.  It was cool meeting Mike Mitchell (director), Ross Bagdasarian and Janice Karman (producers), and Jason Lee (actor), but the best part about it was the lovely bloggers I met and staying at the Four Seasons.  For a missionary girl, not only is the Four Seasons out of my price range but also out of place for me (thus it must be documented).  But honestly, their customer service was so great that I didn’t feel out of place at all.

I was struck by the Christmas beauty as I walked in, and it only got better in my room on the 12th floor.  A huge king bed to myself that I slept beautifully on.  A little balcony where I could see the Hollywood sign in the distance (I also took some night shots that I’ll share later).  An iPad for ordering room service and other amenities.  Room service three times.  Three times, people!  I’ve never ordered room service before, but we got an expense account, so if I wanted to eat breakfast, then a $40 order of coffee, yogurt and granola, and english muffins it was.

Several of you asked how in the world I got this opportunity.  Honestly, it was as simple as an email from Rachael at Today’s Mama asking me if I wanted to go!  I don’t know the inner workings of how she asked me, but I was, and still am, totally honored by it.  I look forward to sharing more about my experience.  You’ll see my interviews on Today’s Mama soon as well as why you should go see We Bought A Zoo and Alvin And The Chipmunks : Chipwrecked!

Disclosure: Fox flew me out to L.A. and put me up in the Four Seasons to attend the press junket for Alvin & The Chipmunks : Chipwrecked.  I was not required to write a post on the Four Seasons.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.
