in the forest

b&w forest

A couple of weeks ago, I shot some Senior photos at the local park. This young man was a blast. I loved his enthusiasm. It makes photo shoots that much more fun. I loved this spot with the branches creating almost a canopy and the sun shining through. I’ve been to this park many, many times and had never noticed this until I went scouting for this shoot.

Being a drummer in the local band, we had some fun with the drumsticks. See that movement on the stick in the air??

One thing I’ve learned with doing photo shoots is to put on a different set of lenses to notice the colors, textures, and fun objects that might make for an interesting point in a photo. It’s so fun to notice those things in a place that I’ve been to many times. It’s like it makes it new again.
