Well, the breather was short but a night away this weekend definitely helped. It was a bit impromptu, but sometimes I think it’s good to be a little last minute. We decided to take the kids to a Hillsong United concert / worship night. Emma G LOVES live music and she had never been to anything like that, so it was a real treat. It was an incredible night of 5000 people at Rhema church in Johnnesburg worshipping together. Hillsong United has a new album being released tomorrow, February 26th. I highly recommend Zion. We were able to buy it and we haven’t stopped listening to it!
We decided to stay the night in Johannesburg since the concert got out late. So glad we did, because we discovered what has to be the coolest 2nd hand shop in Pretoria, Bellbottoms. There’s actually an antique route that we didn’t know about. That means another trip to check out the shops!
After being gone from S. Africa for almost three years and coming back, I’m seeing the beauty with fresh eyes. It’s amazing. The drive there and back was just spectacular. These are just my iPhone pics, but can you tell how beautiful it is?
