If you merely drive through Kaapsehoop by car, it may take you roughly 5 minutes. It’s a small town but with big fun to discover. Wild horses run free and are friendly enough for petting. My favorite snap was the one above taken with my phone. The horse was yawning but looks like he’s about to bite! I promise he was friendly. We named him Mr. Ed and he followed us to the car. He was even waiting at the car when we got out of the antique shop!
The nature walk was a hit with the kids. It was only an hour up with a fantastic view at the top. We’ll definitely be visiting this quaint town again. There’s more cafes, cute shops, and hiking to explore!
