Giveaways Reviews

nature bible {giveaway}

Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. We had a great Sunday lunch with friends yesterday. By the time we left, you could smell fire in the air. It’s that time of year again where fires are all too common in our area of S. Africa. When we arrived home, we saw that fire had struck our property (although nothing was damaged). It wasn’t anything like last year’s fire. Thank goodness. Nature is a powerful thing, isn’t it?

Speaking of nature (how do you like that transition?), I have an awesome giveaway for you today. Tommy Nelson has some great children’s Bibles, and one of those is the Nature Bible. I love this theme, because, when you look around at nature, you can’t help but smile at the grandeur of it all and the creativeness of our God. This particular Bible has a cloth cover with a zipper which makes it easy for carrying around. I love the simple Bible time line in the beginning and the maps at the back. It’s an International Children’s Bible which means it’s not paraphrased but a direct translation prepared specifically for children. I also love the cover of the Bible and how it screams nature. When I saw this Bible online, I thought it would be great for nature loving boys. However, when I received it, I thought the colors were a bit more feminine in nature. My daughter definitely loves it. My boy said it was too girly for him. I guess my suspicions were right.

Giveaway

I have one copy of the Nature Bible up for giveaway courtesy of Tommy Nelson. Giveaway is open to U.S. addresses only and ends August 23rd at 11:59 pm CST. Enter through Rafflecopter below!

Disclosure: I received a free copy of the Nature Bible from Tommy Nelson in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

    So glad to hear nothing was damaged–just like Jennifer! 🙂

    My 5 year old loves all things nature. He's full of random facts of nature and all of God's creatures. I asked him what his favorite was and he said that's a silly question because you can never see it all and know enough to be able to have a favorite!

    So, maybe his favorite is that there's always something new to explore and discover the greatness of God….

    Wow, glad everything was ok! What a neat Bible.. I would probably give it away to one of my campers. One of the things we like to do at camp is look at the stars! We have a very clear sky and are in the middle of nowhere so we have a great view of constellations!

    WOW! It's so great to hear that you're all okay, and nothing was ruined in the fire. I would love to win this Bible for the little man in our life… he just turned TWO and is going to need a Bible of his own before long. AND, such a cool one at that!!!

    This Bible sounds wonderful. I hadn't heard of it before. My children are grown, but if I happen to win, I will donate it to a friend who has young children and finances are tight.

    I'm glad you didn't have any damage from the fire. God Bless!

    It's smokey here in Montana this time of year too. :-/ And I'm too tired to make any sort of transition, so I'll just add that I think the Bible looks lovely. I would be delighted to win.

    Butterflies are probably my Emma's favorite. She especially loves Monarch butterflies.
