Welcome to In The Studio, a place to show off your studio and meet some great artists! Today I’m so excited to show you a studio I’ve been working on. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s come so, so far. Don’t you think?
I mean it’s seriously embarrassing to show you that a corner like that even existed in my house, but tucked away in my upstairs room, out of sight and out of mind, there is sat for months and months.
It wasn’t until we decided that this upstairs neglected room would be Joshua’s room that some change started to happen. Then this little corner started to become exactly how I envisioned it. I admit that it’s not ideal to have a creative corner in my son’s room, but it’s the only spot I have. Besides, once we do the addition we have planned, he will be moving rooms anyway. It all works out, right? I plan on putting a little curtain up so he doesn’t have to stare at my sewing machine.
I saw a project for making Hoopla baskets a while back and knew that I wanted some for my craft corner. I love how they turned out and wish I had space for more!

Now it’s your turn! Remember your “studio” can be anywhere. Let’s celebrate each other’s creativity by linking up and visiting as many as the other studios as you can. Check out the about post for more info and don’t forget to grab the In The Studio button!
