With my kids recently going to school, we’ve had to adjust the routine a bit. During homeschool, we had a devotion time every Monday morning. Now our morning time is somewhat limited, but I still wanted to start the day off right by having some Jesus time with the kids. So, every morning, over breakfast, we read a devotion from Jesus Calling, 365 Devotions For Kids by Sarah Young. I really, really love this devotional book. The pages are short and sweet but with a powerful message. It’s just enough to have a short discussion and then pray together for the day. Did I mention I love this book? (It’s also a hardcover with a cute cover…double bonus.)

February 7, 2014 at 5:22 amI like the What Would Jesus Do for kids. I used it for my son and I've given many away to my little friends. There was another book I really liked but I've forgotten the name of- when the kids get to do actions relating to the story. Like pretending to hammer when the story was about Jesus as a young kid with Joseph his father.I'm in the Philippines but have a US address. Hope I'm not disqualified!!! Patsy from
