Welcome to In The Studio, a place to show off your studio and meet some great artists! I’m laughing to myself as I write this realizing that it must be Snowy week. She’s been in every.single.post this week. Purely unintentional. If you’re not an animal lover, please excuse my ramblings.

I decided that if we were going to have a dog in the house, she had to have the cutest bed ever. We gathered several things I already had on hand (except the cover for her to sleep on) and made this…

Cute, huh? We went to the fabric shop and bought the softest fabric we could find and I made a giant pillow cover for an old duvet and pillow we had. I can easily remove it for washing which is what I wanted. So far she loves her bed. When it’s hot, though, she prefers the coolness of the concrete floor.

The accessories were super fun. A girl has to have accessories, you know. I knitted her some dog bones and stuffed them with Joshua’s old socks. I’m not sure how long these will hold up. She loves them. I’m ok with them getting chewed up and destroyed over our shoes. The bunting is simply, because I love buntings and her bed needed a little cutesie touch. Do you think it did the trick? Isn’t she so cute laying in it?
