Welcome to In The Studio, a place to show off your studio and meet some great artists! We made it to England on Monday. It’s been pretty low key. Mostly we’ve rested and visited with friends. I didn’t realize how tired I was until we got here. Jet lag combined with a very busy last week in the states equaled exhaustion. The first two days we slept pretty much the whole afternoon, and then we were able to sleep all night. I would say we were tired.
It’s interesting, this travel thing. While I love it, it does bring some challenges. Since we tend to go for longer periods of time, we’re trying to figure out how to navigate the rest and work rhythms while creating some sort of structure for our kiddos. It’s so, so tricky to figure out what’s best.
Like last week, I don’t have any creativity coming out of my studio this week. It’s just these thoughts rolling around in my head. I’m kind of looking forward to some kind of normal in the near future and a space to exercise some creativity. I sure do look forward to seeing what you have created this week!
Now it’s your turn! Remember your “studio” can be anywhere. Let’s celebrate each other’s creativity by linking up and visiting as many as the other studios as you can. Check out the about post for more info and don’t forget to grab the In The Studio button!

June 20, 2014 at 1:03 pmIt is definitely hard to keep a routine when traveling, which can be especially hard on children sometimes. However, it seems like you've done the best of it and managed to spend a memorable time. Blessings!

June 21, 2014 at 10:31 amI have those times too. No creative juice, but thoughts dancing and dancing. Praying for us all to find God's rhythms for us.
