Welcome to In The Studio, a place to show off your studio and meet some great artists! Does anyone else do a happy dance when Friday rolls around? I know I do. Today’s happy dance also involves my excitement around the most epic super hero party we’ve spent weeks planning. My kitchen table has been littered for days with glitter glue, costume projects, and absolute fun. Consider that a little precursor to next week’s In The Studio.
So TODAY. Let’s talk about today. It’s an interesting season of my life right now. I mentioned it a little last week. There’s some deep places God is pinpointing, and it’s quite vulnerable. Alongside that, He’s showing me that I need to slow down and just breathe. Sometimes I go at a pace that leaves my mind whirling in so many directions. I take on too much, physically and mentally.
TODAY let’s look at God’s amazing creativity. What better way to slow down, breathe, and enjoy than stopping to take in God’s beautiful creation. I feel like He’s painting a new landscape for my life. This photo reflects one of my absolute favorite landscapes here in our neck of the woods. It takes my breath away every.single.time.
You know what else helps you to stop and slow down…laughter. Like when a horse sticks its head in your car window, and you try to snap a photo while protecting yourself. The only logical result is laughter.
Now it’s your turn! Remember your “studio” can be anywhere. Let’s celebrate each other’s creativity by linking up and visiting as many as the other studios as you can. Check out the about post for more info and don’t forget to grab the In The Studio button!
