Today is a big happy birthday to my amazing husband and beautiful daughter. We celebrated 80’s style on Saturday with all our friends. That explains the 80’s attire (although it seems the styles of the 80’s are making a comeback…is this true??). Anyway, more on the 80’s later. On to birthday mushy gushy stuff.
My life is so much richer to have these two in my life! Jeremy, you inspire me to dream bigger than I ever thought I could. There’s no mountain too high for you when it comes to believing what God can do. I love how you inspire others when you communicate those dreams! You’re an amazing father, husband, and lover, and I love you with my whole heart and beyond.
Miss Emma Grace, I love your compassionate heart and your desire to make things nice. You make your ideas known (even when it comes to how you want to be celebrated), and I love it. It flows out of your desire to celebrate others well which tells me that you’ve reached a new level of maturing. I can’t believe you’ve entered into double digits. Even though you’re now a decade old, you will still be my little girl, and hopefully you’ll still let me cuddle with you for many, many years to come!
I love you, Jeremy and Emma Grace! I celebrate both of you today and everyday!

September 29, 2014 at 7:15 pmHow fun!! Happy birthdays. True story, once I went to an 80's themed party at a friend's house. Halfway through her mom came up to me and said, "I just wanted to let you know, your costume is REALLY good and authentic- I had that same vest in the 80's- I kept looking at you thinking, aw that poor girl isn't dressed very modern, then remembered it was a costume party."
