i prayed for you

November is National Adoption Awareness Month. Talking about the subject of adoption with children can be a difficult topic of conversation. I love that Tommy Nelson has some great children’s books that emphasize, no matter how you entered a family…biologically or through adoption…you are loved and wanted.

I Prayed For You is a beautiful story of how Mama Bear emphasizes her love for Baby Bear and prays for him through every stage of life. It’s a great board book for all young children. I highly recommend it! Check out the flipbook to see the cute illustrations and beautiful prayers!

I have thought and prayed about adoption.it's something I so wish we could do! My husband isn't really on board with the idea though. There's many things in his life and with the four kiddos we have that make it not a reality for us at this time. Maybe one day of the Lord wills!

I haven't personally, but a close friend has recently adopted a precious little girl. She is a joy to all who know her!

I would really love to adopt a child some day. I don't know if it will work out, though. My sister-in-law has a little sister Emma's age who was adopted from China. She and Emma are good friends!

We have thought and prayed about adoption for years, and we're currently going through the process of becoming foster/adoptive parents. One word: Overwhelming-love (I know, two words really, but both very necessary. 🙂 ).

I wanted to adopt, but we couldn't afford the process in the state we lived in at the time. Now laws have loosened a bit, so although we are too old now our children are considering adoption!
