Does anyone, besides me, struggle to get their kids to do their chores? I hope I’m not alone. There’s two things I’ve learned in order to have success with chore charts and kids actually doing what’s assigned to them.     Your link doesn't work for me…

    I find chores are great once I get the system running, but then a lot of work to start up again once the kids get out of the habit of doing them.

    An invoice! That's great!!! My kids are younger and have virtually no money, so what I do is if, for instance, they don't set the table in a timely manner (I tell them how long they have if they don't look lively), they don't eat that meal. Whining and dawdling both get them extra chores.
