Does anyone, besides me, struggle to get their kids to do their chores? I hope I’m not alone. I find chores are great once I get the system running, but then a lot of work to start up again once the kids get out of the habit of doing them.

My kids are younger and have virtually no money, so what I do is if, for instance, they don't set the table in a timely manner (I tell them how long they have if they don't look lively), they don't eat that meal. Whining and dawdling both get them extra chores.
